Tour Itinerary :

Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Royal Welcome & Horse Briefing

Arrive at Udaipur Airport or Railway Station where our team receives you with a floral welcome. Drive to your luxury hotel or heritage retreat overlooking the lakes or countryside.

Later in the afternoon, head to the horse stables outside the city to meet the team, your assigned Marwari horse, and your riding guide. A detailed briefing on the route, safety, and riding posture is conducted.

You’ll get a chance to do a test ride around the paddock to get comfortable with the horse’s gait and reins.

Evening: Welcome dinner with traditional music and an overview of Rajasthan’s equestrian heritage.

Day 2: Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh – First Leg of the Safari Begins (Ride + Drive)

Post breakfast, transfer by vehicle to the outskirts of Kumbhalgarh where your horses are pre-saddled and ready.

  • Begin your first proper ride through forest trails and farm paths.
  • Ride alongside mustard fields, distant Aravalli hills, and occasional tribal hamlets.
  • The ride is relaxed (2–3 hours), allowing you to bond with your horse and absorb the raw landscape.

Arrive at a boutique stay near Kumbhalgarh Fort. After rest, you may visit the grand fort by car or foot, famous for having the second-longest wall in the world.

Evening bonfire with light folk music and Marwari horse tales by your guide.

Day 3: Kumbhalgarh to Ghanerao – Through Wildlife & Tribal Paths

Today’s ride takes you through the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Early start after breakfast and saddle up for a slightly longer ride (4–5 hours with breaks).

  • Ride through forested trails, with chances of spotting antelopes, langurs, peacocks, and colorful birds.
  • Pass Bhils and Garasia tribal villages, interact with locals, and observe their traditional homes and attire.

By afternoon, reach Ghanerao Castle, a 17th-century noble home turned charming heritage hotel.

Rest and refresh. Optional village walk or cooking class in the evening.

Day 4: Ghanerao to Ranakpur – Scenic Valleys & Temple Town

Post a light breakfast, ride your horse through green valleys and riverbeds towards Ranakpur, home to India’s most intricate Jain temple.

  • The route is undulating and scenic, taking you through tribal farmlands and open ridges.
  • Riding duration: Approx. 3–4 hours.

On arrival, check in at a luxury retreat near the temple complex. Visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple, a stunning marble marvel with 1444 unique carved pillars.

 Evening yoga or meditation session can be arranged at your property.

Day 5: Ranakpur to Narlai – Royal Trail to Hidden Hamlet

After breakfast, set out on one of the most culturally immersive rides of the journey. Ride duration: 4–5 hours.

  • Ride through semi-arid terrain, distant hills, and seasonal rivers.
  • En route, visit small Rajput hamlets, bullock cart paths, and interact with local children and shepherds.

Reach Rawla Narlai, a 17th-century fort-turned-hotel nestled below a giant granite rock.

Evening: Optional stepwell dinner under a thousand lamps – a royal experience with music, candles, and curated Rajasthani cuisine.

Day 6: Narlai to Jojawar – Village Life on Horseback

This morning’s ride will take you through some of the most authentic, untouched countryside in Rajasthan.

  • Ride across open farmland, dry riverbeds, and rocky terrain.
  • Spot herds of goats, village women carrying pots, and colorful turbans of camel herders.
  • Riding duration: 4–5 hours.

Arrive at Rawla Jojawar, a charming property that balances local aesthetics with modern comfort. You’ll be greeted with cool towels, welcome drinks, and a rustic setting.

Optional: Evening train ride through Aravalli hills (slow heritage rail).

Day 7: Jojawar – Countryside Ride & Stable Experience

Today’s ride is lighter and more interactive. Ride duration: 2–3 hours.

  • Visit nearby pastoral villages, interact with blacksmiths, potters, and weavers.
  • Return to the stables for a Marwari grooming session, where you can assist in brushing, feeding, and bonding.

Evening: Watch a short documentary on Marwari horses, followed by Q&A with your horse guide.

Day 8: Jojawar to Udaipur – Return Journey

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Udaipur (approx. 3.5–4 hrs). En route, stop at quaint villages or small forts.

Arrive in Udaipur by afternoon and check into a boutique hotel or lakeside resort.

Evening free for shopping, rooftop dinner, or a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 9: Departure from Udaipur
